The Professional Clothing Awards 2019

On Wednesday June 19^th 2019, we were delighted to be among the guests at the prestigious Professional Clothing Awards hosted by the PCIAW.

Now in their 10^th year, the PCA’s celebrate achievements within the workwear and corporate clothing industry.

With over 300 guests gathered in the prestigious surroundings of the Montcalm Marble Arch Hotel in London, the event was hosted by Strictly Come Dancing Star Anton Du Beke.

In celebration of our 150^th year, we were allowed a chance to play a special anniversary video to the gathered guests, before our Chairman Richard Donner and his son, Managing Director, John Donner cut a cake which was shared out with guests at the end of the event.

The ceremony kicked off with the PCA Vision Awards, celebrating innovative student designs of stylish, functional professional clothing.

Following this the main ceremony began where more than 20 awards were handed out to deserving recipients to honour their various contributions for achievements such as ‘Best Innovation in Footwear’ and ‘PPE Innovation of the Year’.

We were delighted to receive the ‘Highly Commended’ Award for ‘Best Managed Contract for Major’. This was awarded for our long standing Fully Managed Service Contract with St John Ambulance.

We were then surprised to be presented with a very special award designed to commemorate our 150 years in the Textile Industry! The stunning crystal trophy will now take pride of place on display in our reception area at head office.

It was a truly memorable night that we shared with colleagues and valued clients, and we hope there are still many more years of success to come!
