Don't just take our word for it...
The following workwear design case studies set out what we have achieved to date.
From Corporate Uniform Design to examples of our ongoing expert support, you’ll find it all in these case studies.
Bristol City Council
The parking department at Bristol City Council need to be able to carry out their jobs, regardless of the weather conditions, so having effective workwear solution is essential. In this instance, the right uniform can allow staff to carry out their roles to maximum efficiency and by feeling comfortable in what they are wearing, morale is improved too.
University Of Suffolk
Sugdens has strong relationships with universities throughout the UK. As a leading provider of uniforms across the medical sector, we are the chosen supplier of many universities when it comes to their student paramedic uniforms. This autumn we’ve been working closely with University of Suffolk to provide uniform that meets the university brand, is safe to wear and allows students to be easily identified.
Moss & Moor Garden Centre
In November 2020 Double Two Sugdens were presented with an exciting opportunity to design a new image for staff uniform in readiness for the grand opening of this fantastic new garden centre, set in the heart of the countryside and on the edge of the wonderful town of Ilkley, the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales.
De Montfort University
Sugdens were thrilled to supply paramedic students at De Montfort University with uniforms late last year following the launch of two new paramedic courses. We worked closely with the university to ensure designs met requirements and were proud to provide the very first cohort of students with uniforms in late 2019.
The Salvation Army
Having become the exclusive supplier of shirts and blouses to The Salvation Army some years earlier, Sugdens were asked to produce samples of garments featuring the Red Shield, with various sizes of shield and shades of red offered. This was no mean task – the detail of the wording ‘The Salvation Army’ in such a small shield requires very precise embroidery, but without ‘gathering’ the fabric of the garment around the shield.
Yorkshire Sculpture International
We were delighted to be asked to design and produce T-Shirts that could be worn by all volunteers during the Yorkshire Sculpture International festival, which see’s sculptures on display across four major Yorkshire venues throughout the summer.
Wesser Fundraising Team
We were approached quite recently by Wesser, who work in partnership with St John Ambulance, aiding their fundraising activities.
We were asked to come up with a simple uniform that their fundraising team could wear, that would showcase the St John Ambulance branding and make the team feel a part of the organisation they represent.
Her Majesty's Prison Service
We were recently tasked with providing more functional garments to suit the highly demanding roles of modern day Prison Officers.
From identifying a suitable solution, to managing a large service contract we were only too happy to meet the needs of Her Majesty’s Prison Service.
St John Cymru
We were delighted to be asked by St John Cymru to design a range of uniform to help people to promote and feel a part of the Centenary year of Wales’ leading first aid charity…
St John Ambulance
St John Ambulance (Supplies) is a company, based in London established to control all ‘supplies’ to St John Ambulance. Our objective was to create a more modern look, which would reinvigorate the St John Ambulance brand and enhance the perception of the organisation and ultimately provide a high profile branded uniform, fit for the nation’s leading first aid charity.
The High Altitude Collection
We were approached by a leading UK independent airline, to design a full range of corporate uniform. From Pilot and Cabin Crew right down to those working on the ground, no crew member was left unaccounted for in this full scale bespoke corporate uniform design.
Planned to coincide with the airline’s 50th anniversary, the new uniform was commissioned to celebrate the brand’s heritage whilst looking forward to the future with a dynamic, fashionable look the whole airline crew could be proud of.
