Paul Gibbons

Paul is in his 42nd year of working in the PPE and clothing market having started his career in 1982, aged 18.

In 24 years with Arco he held several senior roles in sales, project management and training with the largest PPE distributor in the UK.

Paul first joined Sugdens in 2008 and was Sales and Marketing Director until 2017. During his time in the role, Sugdens won a contract with St John Ambulance worth £2.5 million and also won major contracts with BP, Bentley Motors and the Salvation Army, as well as many contracts with the police and fire service in the UK and Ireland.

Following time at Ungloves Ltd and RS Group as Sales Director and Head of Sales respectively, he returned to Sugdens in 2024.

With a career that has always been customer focused, whether managing a major account base directly or managing a field sales team, Paul has always been a passionate people person and enjoys face to face communication and the challenges that come with keeping customers happy and securing the relationship at all times.

Now back at Sugdens and in a new role of Sales Manager FRS UK and Ireland, he is delighted and excited to be part of the Corporate and Workwear market again.

His dedication to success and having five now grown up children means that downtime is important to Paul. He loves playing golf on a weekend and any tips from customers are always welcomed.
